Events are held at venues around downtown Riverside, with a majority of the participants based in the Inland Empire. Saturation includes concerts, films, workshops, exhibitions, handcrafted art and much more. As a mostly all-ages and largely cost-free festival, Saturation pushes for the de-commodification of culture, concentrating instead on the value of the experience.

Riverside Artswalk @ Saturation Fest 2016

The Riverside Arts Council is seeking art vendors for a special edition of Riverside Artswalk @ Saturation Fest. The event is scheduled to take place Saturday, May 28th, 2016 on University Ave. (between Lemon St. and Orange St.) and Sunday, May 29th, 2016 in parking lot 16 (located on Orange St., between University Ave. and Mission Inn Ave. *upon permit approval*). The Riverside Arts Council is teaming up with The Inland Empire Record Collective,  Riverside Downtown Partnership, Back to the Grind and Worthington's Tavern to bring you art activities alongside vinyl record and art vendors with musical performances by local musicians and DJ’s.

NO SET-UP FEES FOR VENDORS!

SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR ART VENDORS is April 30, 2016.

Submissions must be received by the deadline in order to be considered for the event.

Saturation includes concerts, films, workshops, exhibitions, guerilla shows, organized bike rides, and handcrafted art. As a mostly all-ages and largely cost-free festival, Saturation pushes for the de-commodification of culture, concentrating instead on the value of the experience. Saturation is a Do-It-Yourself festival, meaning that it is participant-created. Organizers work behind the scenes to connect venues, performers, artists, art vendors, event curators and volunteers.

We held on as long as we could! Unfortunately, the time has come to close the sign up process and move on to the next step. Coordinators are now in the process of sending out acceptance letters, so keep an eye on your email and please follow the instructions thoroughly.

There are lots of great people in the Inland Empire and we would love to be able to accept all submissions for inclusion, but due to the nature of hosting a DIY festival, it is impossible to accommodate all participant submissions. We are also hoping that some of the energy from Saturation will continue after the festival so that great events can happen year-round in the Inland Empire.

Saturation Fest is always in need of volunteers! Volunteers are needed to help set up and clean up events during the festival. Volunteers will also help direct people around the festival and assist event organizers. If you are interested in doing a service to your community please click the link below to apply.

A lot of people have been emailing me (also at the Saturation Facebook) or dropping by to ask me about signing up for whatever idea you might have or getting your band on the line up. As much as I LOVELOVELOVE seeing you all get excited about this year, I just wanted to remind you to sign up here, on the website, so we can make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Baby Head Stickers Anyone?

This sticker featuring the Saturation Festival Baby Head was designed by Collaboration X artist Nathaniel Osollo as part of a larger collection of Baby Heads. Curated by Cosme Cordova of Division 9 Gallery, the Baby Heads were displayed on the fences surrounding the Riverside Metropolitan Museum during their construction in 2011. Would you like to get your hands on this 3"x3" sticker?
